I. Information on the Collection of Personal Data

(1) The following provides information about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that can be attributed to you personally, e.g., name, address, email addresses, user behavior.

(3) When you contact us via email or our contact form, the data you provide (your email address, and if applicable, your name and phone number) will be stored by us in order to respond to your inquiries. The data collected in this context will be deleted once storage is no longer required or processing will be restricted if statutory retention obligations exist.

(4) If we use commissioned service providers for certain functions of our offer or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will provide detailed information below about the respective processes. We will also specify the criteria for the retention period.

III. Collection of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website

(1) When using the website purely for informational purposes, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data transmitted by your browser to our server. When you view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website and ensure stability and security (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when using our website. Cookies are small text files assigned to the browser you use and stored on your hard drive, through which information is transmitted to the entity that sets the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make the overall web offer more user-friendly and effective.

V. Additional Functions and Services of Our Website

(1) In addition to purely informational use, we offer various services that you can use if interested. For this, you usually need to provide additional personal data, which we use to provide the respective service and for which the principles of data processing mentioned above apply.

(2) We sometimes use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly monitored.

V. Newsletter

(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, through which we inform you about our current offers. The products and services promoted are named in the consent declaration.

(2) We use the double-opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. This means we send you an email after registration asking you to confirm that you want to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. We also store your IP addresses and timestamps of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to verify your registration and, if necessary, clarify any misuse of your personal data.

(3) Providing your email address is the only mandatory information for sending the newsletter. Providing other, separately marked data is voluntary and used to address you personally. After confirmation, we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

(4) You may revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe. Revocation can be done by clicking the link provided in each newsletter email, by email to marketing@maxpool.de, or via the contact details in the imprint.

(5) Please note that we analyze your user behavior when sending the newsletter. The newsletters include so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files stored on our website. We link the data mentioned in III. with the web beacons and your email address and individual ID for evaluation.


VI. Objection or Revocation of Data Processing

(1) If you have given consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke it at any time. Such a revocation affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data after you have communicated it to us.

(2) If we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you can object to the processing. This is the case when processing is not necessary to fulfill a contract with you, as explained in the functional descriptions below. VII. Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer that allow analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within EU member states or other states of the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
