Invoices can be easily submitted through the Cleo customer portal under the "Claims" section.

For dog insurance, your client can choose a deductible of €0, €250, or €500. For cat insurance, the options are €0, €150, or €300.

If a deductible is agreed upon, it is listed in the policy and applied per submitted claim per animal. Exceptions include preventive care services and veterinary identification, where the deductible does not apply.

It is advantageous to submit invoices together at the end of the insurance year, so the deductible is only applied once per policy year.

Emergency service fees are covered under the Comprehensive Plan (Rundum) if related to a necessary surgery or accident.

Other emergency costs are reimbursed as follows:

• Basic and Standard Plans: up to 3× GOT Rate¹

• Comprehensive Plan (Rundum): up to 4× GOT Rate¹
  This applies if the emergency results from a medically necessary surgery or directly from an accident.

Surgery Insurance: Acupuncture, homeopathy, and physiotherapy are covered in Standard and Comprehensive Plans for up to 12 weeks after a covered surgery.

Health Insurance: Acupuncture, homeopathy, physiotherapy, osteopathy, and alternative practitioner treatments are covered in Standard and Comprehensive Plans for up to 12 weeks after a covered surgery or treatment.

Cleo reimburses expenses for:

• Medically necessary diagnostics

• Outpatient and inpatient treatments, including surgeries and medications

• Pain-relieving dental treatments, including necessary tooth extractions

• Measures within the Health & SOS Budget

The preventive care package includes:

• Vaccinations

• Parasite treatments

• Preventive blood tests

• Preventive dental cleaning

• Preventive behavioral therapy

Note: Spaying/neutering is not included in the preventive care package.

If your pet unfortunately dies or is rehomed during the term of the surgery or health insurance policy, the contract ends on the day of death or rehoming.

The coverage limit is the maximum annual payout per animal. For health insurance, the coverage applies to both the surgery insurance and any health insurance upgrades.
